We're excited to announce the upcoming content release — Black Temple, The Battle for Mount Hyjal and Arena Season 3 are just around the corner!
Following recent attunement requirements removal for T5 raids, Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep will see some difficulty adjustments on 11/04. The Battle for Mount Hyjal raid will release during the following week — 14/04 (18:00 server time) with Black Temple opening on 21/04 (18:00 server time).
With BT release we're also going to conclude the arena season and start Season 3 right away. Players will be able to obtain Season 2 set pieces for Honor Points and Season 2 weapons for a discounted Arena Points price.
The rewards for placing high on the arena ladder are as follows (for both 2v2 and 3v3 brackets):
Rank 1 — Merciless Gladiator title and a Merciless Nether Drake.
Ranks 2 and 3 — Gladiator title and a Swift Nether Drake.
Ranks 4 and 5 — Gladiator title and a Swift Nether Drake.
Ranks 6 to 8 — Duelist title.
Ranks 9 to 10 — Rival title.
Ranks 11 to 15 — Challenger title.
Over the past few weeks, we've also been working on and internally testing mixed-faction battlegrounds and spell-queueing. We're going to release these features as soon as they're ready and improve them with your help!
The next few weeks will also bring a few changes to the Store. Seeing players looking to exchange coins for gold and sometimes ending up in an unfortunate situation of being scammed made us think of ways of fixing that problem. We're introducing The Marketplace — a page where you'll be able to safely list your gold and exchange it for coins. The Marketplace will be expanded upon over time, with catchup options available in the future.
